The year 2010/11 witnessed some exciting developments in the Faculty of Computer Science. Perhaps the biggest change was the creation of the new Department of Mathematical Sciences, which is now chaired by Dr. Shahid Qureshi. Dr. Qureshi, who holds a PhD in Space and Planetary physics and has considerable teaching, management and research experience, joined the FCS as full time faculty member in 2010. More
