Winter School

Winter School is a continuation of last year’s initiative that was taken with the Computer Science summit and is in keeping with incorporating within the students of IBA FCS the knowledge of the most cutting edge and up to date IT industrial tools and utilities.

This year The Computer Science Society has brought forth a fresh array of topics and technologies from the core essentials of the industrial paradigms and hopes to inculcate within the students a fundamental understanding of how the professional market is operating. A number of excellent lectures were held which included the following: Python by Abdul Wajed, PHP by Ayaz Ali Qureshi, Phonegap by Abdul Wahab Jawed, Android by Danish Siddiqui, Windows App development by Laraib Usman, ASP.NET by Tauqeer ul Islam, Web security by Shahmeer Amer and Drupal by Arshad Vayani were conducted under supervision of the CS Society at IBA. It is hoped that in the future we interact with the leading experts as well as the fresh graduates from the universities to learn firsthand the incoming innovations being demanded by the IT industry in general.

The winter school was very well received and was an enterprising experience for all who have interest in the IT field with participants requesting for more sessions during the next semester breaks.
